An RFQ form on your website
Your shop's RFQ page, on your own website. Buyers fill in their details, drop STEP, IGES or DXF models and PDF drawings, give quantities and send. Their browser measures the models, so the RFQ arrives in Quotes already measured and priced at your rates, for your team to review and send.
Add it
Copy the code from Integrations → Website RFQ form in QuotedPart, where your-shop is already your shop's address. A button that opens the form over the page:
<button type="button" data-quotedpart-rfq="your-shop">Request a quote</button>
<script src="https://quotedpart.com/embed.js" async></script>Or the form in the page, growing with its content:
<div data-quotedpart-rfq="your-shop" data-mode="inline"></div>
<script src="https://quotedpart.com/embed.js" async></script>WordPress: add a Custom HTML block and paste the code. Wix, Squarespace and Webflow have an HTML or embed block that does the same. Style the button like any other on your site; any element with data-quotedpart-rfq opens the form.
What happens
- The RFQ lands in Quotes as New, with the buyer as the customer, their message and needed-by date, and each part with its quantities.
- Your team is notified as for any RFQ, and your webhook gets rfq.received if you have one.
- The buyer sees a thank-you with their reference (Q-1006). They don't see a price: your team reviews the quote and sends it from QuotedPart.
- Files go straight to QuotedPart and only to your shop, up to 50 MB each.
From your own code
<script>
// Open the form from your own code
document.querySelector("#quote-link").addEventListener("click", () => QuotedPart.open("your-shop"));
// Know when an RFQ was sent, for your analytics
window.addEventListener("quotedpart:rfq-sent", (e) => console.log("RFQ", e.detail.reference));
</script>A site with a Content-Security-Policy needs https://quotedpart.com in script-src and frame-src. The plain page also works as a link anywhere: https://quotedpart.com/rfq/your-shop.
