From RFQ to sent quote
- RFQs come in by email forwarding, your own RFQ page, or drag and drop.
- PDF drawings are read for part number, revision, material, finish, tolerances, threads and notes.
- STEP and IGES models are measured in your browser: stock size, holes, pockets, setups, turned features, sheet thickness and bends.
- No model? The part is priced from the drawing alone, with what it assumed listed for you to check.
- A routing on your own work centers, rates, materials and finishes, with cost, margin and lead time for each quantity break.
- Send a quote page or PDF with your logo; the buyer picks a quantity for each part and accepts with a PO. Won quotes become orders.

FAQ
What shops ask first
Yes. Send the quote page link, or the PDF. On the page the buyer picks one of your quantity breaks for each part, adds a PO number or attaches the PO, and gives the ship-to address and date. That marks the quote won and makes it an order.
Yes. Your shop gets its own rfq+ address. Forward an RFQ to it and a new quote is waiting, with the attached models and drawings paired into parts by file name and zip files unpacked. The buyer, due date and quantities are read from the email. Buyers can also upload files on your RFQ page.
Yes. On JobBOSS², Send to JobBOSS² on the quote menu creates the estimates with routing and the quote in your JobBOSS². On JobBOSS on your own server, Export for JobBOSS creates the quote with prices, routing and material in your JobBOSS database (see the JobBOSS page). For QuickBooks, E2 and any other ERP, orders export as CSV or Excel. Tell us which one you use and we'll help you set it up.
The trial runs 14 days from sign-up (30 if we invited you with a first-month-free offer), with every feature and no card. If you don't subscribe, your shop turns read-only: you can still open and export everything, and subscribing picks up where you left off. We don't delete it when the trial ends.
Drawings you add and RFQ emails you forward are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which doesn't train on that data. What it read is shown next to the part for you to check. Prices come from your rates and formulas, and nothing reaches a customer until you send it. AI reading has a monthly allowance per shop; measuring CAD and pricing with your formulas don't use AI and have no limit. QuotedPart's AI never reads parts in the ITAR vault; those are read only in your own AWS GovCloud account, if you connect one.
