What it prices
- STEP models of bent parts are unfolded in your browser: thickness, flat size, bends with angle and length, cut length and pierces.
- DXF flat patterns are read for cut length, pierces, cutouts and bend lines.
- PDF prints are read for part number, revision, material, thickness, finish, tolerances and notes; a part can be priced from the print alone, with its assumptions listed.
- Cutting time from cut length, thickness and pierces on your laser or waterjet, and press brake setup and run time per bend.
- Sheet and plate by weight, plus finishes such as powder coat, plating and anodize as outside services.
- Every quantity break priced, and each operation shows the formula and part values behind its minutes.
How it fits your shop
- One price for the whole shop: $199/month with unlimited users.
- 14-day free trial, no card, no setup fee and no contract. If you stop, the shop turns read-only and you can export everything.
- JobBOSS² and JobBOSS: the quote goes in with prices, routing and material. Any other ERP or QuickBooks: quotes and won orders export as CSV or Excel.
- ITAR parts go in the ITAR vault, encrypted in your browser before upload.

FAQ
What shops ask first
Yes, in your browser: cut length, pierces, cutouts and bend lines. The thickness comes from the file's notes or from what you enter when you add it. If neither gives one, the part is priced at a default thickness and the quote warns you to check it.
No. Material is priced from each part's flat blank plus 5 mm (0.2 in) in length and width, with 80% of the sheet assumed to become parts. When a job uses whole sheets, enter the material cost on the part. Your nesting software still decides the real layout.
How to quote a sheet metal partYes. On JobBOSS², Send to JobBOSS² on the quote menu creates the estimates with routing and the quote in your JobBOSS². On JobBOSS on your own server, Export for JobBOSS creates the quote with prices, routing and material in your JobBOSS database (see the JobBOSS page). For QuickBooks, E2 and any other ERP, orders export as CSV or Excel. Tell us which one you use and we'll help you set it up.
Drawings you add and RFQ emails you forward are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which doesn't train on that data. What it read is shown next to the part for you to check. Prices come from your rates and formulas, and nothing reaches a customer until you send it. AI reading has a monthly allowance per shop; measuring CAD and pricing with your formulas don't use AI and have no limit. QuotedPart's AI never reads parts in the ITAR vault; those are read only in your own AWS GovCloud account, if you connect one.
The trial runs 14 days from sign-up (30 if we invited you with a first-month-free offer), with every feature and no card. If you don't subscribe, your shop turns read-only: you can still open and export everything, and subscribing picks up where you left off. We don't delete it when the trial ends.

About the team and the companyQuoting software for bigger shops is sold through demos, setup fees and multi-year contracts. We think a small shop should be able to see the price, run a part it has already quoted, and decide in an afternoon.
If a quote comes out wrong, email me the part. We'll look at it with you and fix the estimate.

We reply within one business day.
