What it prices
- CNC milling: stock size, setups from the approach directions, holes by type, pockets, faces and tapped holes.
- CNC turning: diameters, length, bores and grooves; cross holes and flats add a milling op, and a .0005 in diameter tolerance or a grind note on the print adds OD grinding.
- Sheet metal and plate: thickness, bends and cut length for laser, waterjet and press brake work.
- Material by weight or by the piece, finishes and outside services, with a minimum line charge.
- Setup and run minutes per operation from editable formulas, with lower run times at larger quantities.
- Each operation shows the formula and part values behind its minutes, and your edits stay marked.
How it fits your shop
- One price for the whole shop: $199/month with unlimited users.
- 14-day free trial, no card, no setup fee and no contract. If you stop, the shop turns read-only and you can export everything.
- JobBOSS² and JobBOSS: the quote goes in with prices, routing and material. Any other ERP or QuickBooks: quotes and won orders export as CSV or Excel.
- ITAR parts go in the ITAR vault, encrypted in your browser before upload.

FAQ
What shops ask first
Yes. A turned STEP model is read for its diameters, length, bores and grooves and priced from bar stock on your lathe rate; a small part with several features goes on the Swiss lathe. Cross holes and flats add a milling op. A diameter held to .0005 in, a 16 Ra finish on a diameter or a grind note on the print adds OD grinding.
Yes. The print is read for its size, stock, holes, pockets and diameters. The engine turns that into stock, setups and run time on your rates, and the part is marked Estimated from drawing, with what it assumed listed for you to check.
How to quote from a drawingYes. On JobBOSS², Send to JobBOSS² on the quote menu creates the estimates with routing and the quote in your JobBOSS². On JobBOSS on your own server, Export for JobBOSS creates the quote with prices, routing and material in your JobBOSS database (see the JobBOSS page). For QuickBooks, E2 and any other ERP, orders export as CSV or Excel. Tell us which one you use and we'll help you set it up.
Yes. STEP and IGES geometry is measured in your browser. Files are stored in your shop so your team can open them later, and nobody outside your shop sees them. A buyer only sees the quote page you send.
Drawings you add and RFQ emails you forward are sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which doesn't train on that data. What it read is shown next to the part for you to check. Prices come from your rates and formulas, and nothing reaches a customer until you send it. AI reading has a monthly allowance per shop; measuring CAD and pricing with your formulas don't use AI and have no limit. QuotedPart's AI never reads parts in the ITAR vault; those are read only in your own AWS GovCloud account, if you connect one.
Yes. There is no minimum term and no setup fee. Cancel in Billing and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. You can export all quotes, parts and customers as JSON or CSV at any time.

About the team and the companyQuoting software for bigger shops is sold through demos, setup fees and multi-year contracts. We think a small shop should be able to see the price, run a part it has already quoted, and decide in an afternoon.
If a quote comes out wrong, email me the part. We'll look at it with you and fix the estimate.

We reply within one business day.
