Is QuotedPart a good alternative to Asytra Quote?
Price one of your own parts: Drop a STEP model or PDF drawing — about 90 seconds, no account.

Asytra Quote and QuotedPart are built the same way: both are self-serve, run in the browser and publish their prices. Asytra Quote costs less for a small team. Its Dashboard plan is $129 a month with one user and $10 for each extra user, so it costs less than QuotedPart's $199 up to 7 users. It prices milled and turned parts from STEP files. QuotedPart also reads the PDF print, quotes sheet metal, takes RFQs by email and lets the buyer accept the quote with a PO.

| Inputs | STEP files; a free browser viewer opens STEP, IGES and BREP | STEP/IGES models measured in the browser, DXF flat patterns, PDF drawings read; a part can be priced from the PDF drawing alone |
| Processes | Milling and turning cost engine | CNC milling and turning, sheet metal and plate (laser, waterjet, press brake), finishes and outside services |
| Output | PDF quote export | Branded quote page where the buyer picks a quantity and accepts with a PO, a PDF, or the shop's own Excel quote format filled in; won quotes become orders |
| Website quoting | Customer-Facing Widget $299/month: embed instant quoting on the shop's website, 100 customer quotes a month, then $1 each | Public RFQ page with CAD upload; the shop reviews and prices, no instant price |

| Inspection | Measure (drawing ballooning and first-article reports) is included for every user on every Quote plan | No ballooning or FAI |
Where Asytra Quote is stronger
It costs less for a small team, and every Quote plan includes Asytra Measure, which balloons a PDF drawing and exports first-article reports. QuotedPart doesn't do inspection reports. If you want buyers to price their own parts on your website around the clock, Asytra's Customer-Facing Widget does that for $299 a month with 100 customer quotes. QuotedPart's RFQ page collects files for you to price; it doesn't show the buyer a price.
Where QuotedPart fits better
Asytra prices from the STEP file. If your buyers send PDF prints, sometimes with no model, QuotedPart reads material, finish, tolerances and notes from the drawing and can price the part from the print alone. It also quotes laser, waterjet and press-brake parts, which Asytra's milling and turning engine doesn't. It reads RFQs forwarded by email. The buyer accepts on a quote page with a PO number, the won quote becomes an order, and JobBOSS² and JobBOSS users can send the quote into their ERP.
QuotedPart's trial is 14 days with no card, against seven days for Asytra's Dashboard.
What it costs by team size
The cost table at the end of this page uses list prices billed monthly. Asytra also offers annual billing: the Dashboard is $1,419 the first year, then $1,548 a year. Adding DFM analysis costs $30 a month more. At 8 users the Dashboard costs $199 a month; past that, QuotedPart's flat price is the cheaper of the two.
