These products solve a similar problem—turning a shop's incoming RFQ into a reviewed quote—but the buying shape is different. This page uses Paperless Parts' public pages checked on October 22, 2026 and QuotedPart's current plan. It does not estimate a Paperless Parts contract or imply feature parity.

Side by side
Paperless Parts is the more established sales-led platform with a broad integration list and a published security story. QuotedPart is a smaller, self-serve product with a single public plan. A shop that needs a specific ERP workflow, regulated-data arrangement, or implementation service should ask both vendors to demonstrate that exact path.
| Question | QuotedPart | Paperless Parts |
|---|---|---|
| Published price | $199/month per shop | Not published; custom-scoped sales quote |
| Trial | 14 days, no card | No free trial or free tier verified on the pages checked |
| Inputs | STEP/IGES, DXF, PDF; drawing-only estimates | 2D and 3D CAD files, including PDFs |
| ERP / exports | JobBOSS² handoff, classic JobBOSS export, CSV and Excel | Broad ERP and accounting integration list |
| Security wording | Optional browser-side ITAR vault; no certification claim | Vendor says ITAR registered and CMMC Level 2 Assessment-Ready |
| Implementation | Self-serve signup and guided setup | Vendor says a typical implementation is about 10–12 weeks |
Where Paperless Parts is stronger
Paperless Parts publicly lists more ERP integrations and a more mature security and compliance positioning. If a shop's decision depends on a named integration, a defense customer requirement, or an implementation team, those are real reasons to favor it. Verify the current contract, scope, and obligations directly with the vendor.
- Ask for a demo using a representative RFQ and the shop's actual ERP version.
- Ask what the security wording means for the shop's own compliance duties.
- Get implementation duration, data migration, training, and contract terms in writing.
Where QuotedPart is simpler
QuotedPart publishes one 199-dollar monthly plan per shop, with unlimited users and a 14-day no-card trial. It is easier to try without a sales process. It is also a younger product with fewer named integrations; a shop should treat the JobBOSS² handoff and CSV/Excel exports as the supported boundaries and test them before relying on them.
- Use the free trial to price a real but non-controlled sample RFQ.
- Compare the shop's own setup time and review process, not a generic feature checklist.
- If the competitor is the better fit for a particular requirement, choose it.
Sources and limits
Claims are dated where they can change. Product calculations are examples from the stated inputs, not a promise about a customer's quote. Competitor wording is attributed to the source shown.
