Change Your Machine Shop Hourly Rates and Markup: Watch an Open Quote Reprice (Real Time)
Rates per work center live in Settings, and every open quote follows them. Here a quote priced at QuotedPart's U.S. default rates is repriced by typing an example shop's rates for the 3-axis VMC, CAM programming and inspection, then by taking the markup from 30% to 25%.
- Part and inputs
- QuotedPart's NW-1042 sample bracket (STEP + PDF), already priced at QuotedPart's U.S. default rates in the guest demo; the rates typed are an example, not a real shop's.
- What it shows
- At QuotedPart's U.S. default rates the bracket is $111.57 each at 10; CAM and the 3-axis VMC run at $95/h. An example shop's rates are typed in Settings: the 3-axis VMC at $125 an hour, CAM programming at $85, inspection at $90; 2 open quotes repriced.
