QuotedPart API for CNC quoting workflows

Your part priced in about 90 seconds, no account.

The QuotedPart API is a server-side REST API at quotedpart.com/api/v1. A shop's API key creates quotes from STEP, IGES, DXF and PDF files, reads prices and lead times at each quantity, and receives signed events when a buyer accepts a quote.

Create a quote from your system

POST /api/v1/quotes accepts multipart files or JSON file URLs/base64. Send quantities, customer details, due dates, needed-by dates, notes, material and process. A STEP model and same-named PDF become one part; up to 25 parts can be sent in a request.

The API runs the same pricing path as the browser. Models are measured, drawings are read by AI within the shop's allowance, and the response contains a draft quote in the shop for review. A browser Origin is refused; keep the bearer key on your server.

Read prices and checks

GET /api/v1/quotes/{id-or-number} returns the quote's status, customer, files, process, material, checks, quantity breaks, unit prices, totals and lead days. Prices are customer-facing prices; the API never returns your cost, rates or margin. GET /api/v1/quotes lists the shop's quotes with status and customer filters.

Connect the next step

A webhook can tell your portal or ERP when an RFQ arrives or a buyer accepts with a PO. Verify QuotedPart-Signature with HMAC-SHA256 over the timestamp and raw body, reject signatures older than five minutes, and answer within ten seconds. JobBOSS² can receive estimates, routing and the quote through ECI's API; other systems can use CSV or Excel export.

Questions about public api

Can the API quote without a browser?
Yes. It is a server-side API with Authorization: Bearer qpk_… keys. Requests from web pages are refused so keys stay on your server.
Does an API quote go straight to the buyer?
No. It is a draft in the shop's QuotedPart account. Your team reviews checks and sends the buyer page or PDF.
