Autonomous CNC quoting from a drawing or RFQ email

Your part priced in about 90 seconds, no account.

QuotedPart automates the path from an RFQ to a draft quote: it reads the request, measures the part, suggests a routing, applies your formulas and prices every quantity break. Your estimator still reviews the checks before sending the buyer a price.

From files to a priced answer

Upload a STEP or IGES model, a DXF flat pattern, a PDF drawing, or a model and drawing together. QuotedPart measures stock, setups, holes, pockets, turned features, sheet thickness and bends. The drawing reader extracts part number, revision, material, finish, tolerances, threads and notes. A PDF alone can produce a quote with its assumptions listed.

The routing is suggested on the work centers you configure. Setup and run-time formulas, material prices, outside services, finishes, markup and quantity rules remain editable shop settings. Each quantity gets its own cost, margin and lead time; the price comes from those rules, not a guessed industry average.

What makes it autonomous

An email can become a quote without retyping every line. QuotedPart reads the buyer, dates, quantities, order type, rush, turnaround and pricing instructions, pairs attachments by name, and puts the result in the quote. The API and MCP server run the same flow for a portal or assistant.

Automation stops at a useful review point: a tight tolerance, missing dimension, stand-in material or unusual price is shown as a check. A team member can edit the plan or price, then send a buyer page or PDF. No quote is sent solely because an email arrived.

More than CNC

The same quote workspace covers CNC milling, CNC turning, sheet metal and plate work such as laser, waterjet and press brake, plus tooled processes including moulding, stamping, casting and forging where the shop has those process settings. The output is still a quote your team can inspect and export.

Questions about autonomous quoting

Is autonomous quoting an AI price guess?
No. AI reads drawings and RFQ text, while the price is calculated from your shop's formulas, rates, materials, processes and markup. The estimator can edit the result before sending it.
Can it quote from a PDF only?
Yes. A PDF drawing can be read without a 3D model; the quote lists assumptions and checks for review.
