QuotedPart's MCP server is a live Streamable HTTP service at quotedpart.com/mcp. After OAuth sign-in, an assistant can measure a STEP, IGES or DXF model, read a PDF drawing, price quantity breaks with your shop's rates, and save the result as a quote.

What the MCP connection does

The client links to your QuotedPart account with OAuth and acts as the person who connected it. It never prices anonymously or sees another shop's quotes. The same pricing path as the web app uses your work centers, rates, materials, finishes, markup and quantity rules.

The assistant can estimate a part, retrieve a quote by its human number, update material, process or quantity, list your shop and materials, and create a short-lived upload for a large file. A PDF drawing is read before pricing; the text explains checks for an estimator.

Connect it

Use https://quotedpart.com/mcp as the remote server URL and choose OAuth in the client's connector settings. Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex are documented with copyable setup steps in the QuotedPart docs.

A quote stays a quote

The assistant creates a draft in your account. You can open the quote link, inspect the measured values and checks, download the PDF or send the buyer page yourself. Connecting MCP does not send prices to a buyer or change your shop's formulas.
