Epicor Kinetic pricing: scope the bundle and total first-year cost

Your part priced in about 90 seconds, no account.

Epicor Kinetic does not show a dollar list price on the current product page checked October 30, 2026. It describes selecting a platform core, cloud package and concurrent users. Ask for a written proposal with those choices specified. A quoted per-user amount without modules, deployment and implementation scope is not a complete ERP budget. The fictional worksheet below totals $90,800 in first-year external and internal cost; none of its amounts is an Epicor price.

Make user counts mean the same thing

Epicor's product page uses concurrent users in its bundle-selection description. Do not compare that directly with an unrelated named-seat or whole-shop subscription. Inventory the people who must work at the same time: estimators, planning, purchasing, finance, supervisors and shop-floor staff. Ask how each role is licensed in the offered configuration and whether integrations consume additional access.

List the capabilities the shop will launch rather than every capability in the catalog. Kinetic documents manufacturing, financials, supply chain, production and scheduling. That breadth is stronger than a standalone estimator when those are the actual needs, but its proposal should identify included modules, environments, integrations and support responsibilities.

Separate launch cost from recurring cost

The example's $90,800 is a sum of assumptions, not a typical customer spend or an implied minimum. Replace every line with an actual proposal or your own staff plan. Recurring software is only one part of year-one cash; internal effort also consumes capacity even when it does not create a new invoice.

Ask which conversion records are included, how training is delivered and what triggers a change order. Request renewal terms, included updates, environment charges and support hours in writing. If comparing cloud, on-premises or hybrid proposals, include the actual infrastructure and administration each requires. The product page's deployment flexibility is not evidence that each option has identical commercial terms.

Tie the budget to the workflow you are fixing

Suppose an assumed 50 hours per month of purchasing and planning rework could be removed at $60/hour of internal value. That is $36,000 per year of capacity value before ongoing software cost and implementation. It is not guaranteed cash savings. Ask the owner of each task to confirm that the new process actually removes it rather than moving it to another department.

For quoting alone, time a sample of recent RFQs. If the delay is reading PDFs and deriving operations, a focused quoting project may have a smaller scope than replacing the ERP. QuotedPart's $199/month shop plan covers estimating, not Kinetic's financials, inventory or scheduling, and a Kinetic transfer would require a validated handoff. Compare complete business requirements before comparing subscription totals.

Sources and limits

Claims are dated where they can change. Product calculations are examples from the stated inputs, not a promise about a customer's quote. Competitor wording is attributed to the source shown.
