Global Shop Solutions pricing: build a complete ERP budget

Your part priced in about 90 seconds, no account.
Global Shop Solutions did not display dollar pricing on the home and estimating pages checked October 30, 2026. Request a scoped proposal rather than relying on a third-party per-user figure. Budget for the operating system you are buying: production, inventory and financial workflows, plus the work required to move the shop. In the clearly hypothetical example below, $18,000 of implementation, $24,000 of annual software and $9,600 of internal effort total $51,600 in year one.

Price the scope you will actually launch
The vendor describes scheduling, shop-floor collection, quality, inventory, purchasing, shipping, job costing and financial functions. That breadth is a stronger offering than a standalone quoting subscription when you need one shared operational record. It also means the proposal must state which applications, environments, integrations and support services are included.
Ask the salesperson to identify every item that could create a separate charge: data conversion, user access, training, reporting, interfaces, upgrades and support. The public pages checked do not establish a contract minimum, implementation price or renewal increase. Keep those cells blank until they are answered in the written offer.
| Budget line | Example assumption | Year-one amount |
|---|---|---|
| Implementation services | One-time placeholder | $18,000 |
| Software/support | Assumed $2,000/month × 12 | $24,000 |
| Internal staff effort | 160 hours × $60/hour | $9,600 |
| Total before extras | 18,000 + 24,000 + 9,600 | $51,600 |
| Not included | Hardware, tax, travel or scope changes | Add actual quotes |
Compare cash, effort and recurring exposure
The example above is a planning exercise. It is not a typical spend, market average or quote from Global Shop Solutions. For your proposal, replace each placeholder with a vendor amount and attach an owner to the internal hours. Staff effort includes cleaning material identifiers, reconciling open work and learning a new process while production continues.
Separate first-year cost from steady-state cost. A low initial payment can still create a larger recurring commitment; a large implementation charge may buy conversion work that another proposal leaves to you. Ask what happens to pricing when you add shop-floor access, another location or an integration. Compare identical workflows across proposals rather than dividing a total by an arbitrary headcount.
Test the business case against a shop problem
If your target is shorter quoting time, count the affected RFQs and the minutes you can actually remove. For example, 80 RFQs per month × 15 minutes saved = 20 hours; at an assumed $60/hour, that is $1,200 of capacity value. It is not automatically payroll savings or new revenue. A broad ERP purchase usually needs benefits beyond that one task.
If the shop already runs Global Shop Solutions effectively and only needs help interpreting new drawings, compare a smaller quoting project before replacing the ERP. QuotedPart has a published $199/month shop price, but it does not provide Global Shop Solutions' scheduling, inventory or accounting. Its export also needs a proven handoff. The two budgets buy different scope, so do not present the subscription difference as a like-for-like saving.
Sources and limits
Claims are dated where they can change. Product calculations are examples from the stated inputs, not a promise about a customer's quote. Competitor wording is attributed to the source shown.
