Tempus Tools shows US monthly prices of $100 for Starter, $300 for Regular and $500 for Advanced. Annual-billing equivalents are $75, $225 and $375 per month. A realistic budget must also count quoting users, the Starter job limit and applicable order fees. For example, three Regular quoting users at the advertised 50% discount for additional users come to $600 monthly, or $450 a month equivalent when billed annually, before fees and tax.

Choose the workflow tier before counting seats
Starter is presented for up to 20 jobs a month. Regular adds unlimited quoting and a Web Store; Advanced adds controls such as fine cutting rates and customer pricing libraries. Those distinctions matter for a laser shop with many small repeat RFQs. A cheaper plan can be unsuitable even for one estimator if the job volume exceeds its limit.
Take a hypothetical shop quoting 80 jobs per month with three active estimators. Starter's stated volume does not fit. If the shop needs the Regular feature set, the seat calculation below is the appropriate starting point. Confirm how a job is counted, whether revisions use another allowance and how adding or removing a quoting user changes the invoice.
| Billing choice | First user | Two additional users | 12 months | 36 months |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $300/month | 2 × $150/month | $7,200 | $21,600 |
| Annual | $2,700/year | 2 × $1,350/year | $5,400 | $16,200 |
Annual savings require an annual commitment
In the example, annual billing saves $1,800 per year relative to paying the monthly rate for 12 months. That comes from $7,200 minus $5,400, not from a measured productivity result. The displayed annual equivalent is not permission to pay one month at that discounted rate. Confirm payment timing, renewal and cancellation treatment before authorizing the annual purchase.
If you only need one Starter quoting user and fit its volume, the corresponding subscription arithmetic is $1,200 per year on monthly billing or $900 billed annually. Choose from your workload, not from the three-user example. QuotedPart's whole-shop subscription is $2,388 per year at its current $199 monthly rate, so it is not automatically the less expensive option for a low-volume, one-user shop.
Online sales change the cost model
Tempus's pricing page, checked October 30, 2026, lists a 0.5% fee for regular invoices and a 2.0% fee for online orders. Ask which revenue is subject to each fee and whether payment-processor charges are separate. Do not add both percentages to every sale without confirming the contract's definitions.
For a labeled sensitivity example, suppose $30,000 of monthly orders are subject to the advertised 2.0% online-order fee. That adds $600 per month: $30,000 × 0.02. Added to the three-user monthly Regular example, the modeled amount becomes $1,200 per month before processor costs and tax. This is a budget scenario, not a statement about a particular shop's bill or the value of the sales channel.
| Confirm | Why it changes the budget |
|---|---|
| Eligible order value | Freight, tax and refunded amounts may affect the basis |
| Invoice versus checkout treatment | Prevents double counting different fee categories |
| Separate processor charges | Software fee may not be the complete collection cost |
| Customer price policy | A self-serve sale must still recover manufacturing cost |
Pay for the fabrication functions you can use
Tempus documents drawing cleanup, nesting and rule-based secondary processes, and its FAQ lists DXF, DWG, vector PDF and 3D formats including STEP. Its fabrication emphasis and customer Web Store can be a stronger fit than a general internal quote workflow. Test a bent enclosure with a purchased finish and check how cutting, bending and coating reach the final order.
Local pricing varies by country, so retain the currency and billing selection from your own checkout. No foreign-exchange conversion is used here. Ask for exact integration scope and any onboarding work separately. A price table is useful for budgeting; the final decision should also establish that your files, production documents and customer ordering rules work together.
