Paperless Parts doesn't publish a price; it scopes each shop and quotes it. The firmest number we have: in 2026 Paperless Parts quoted a North Carolina machine shop exactly $30,000 a year, which is $2,500 a month. Other dated reports land in the same range: an 8-person shop on Reddit was quoted $10,000 setup plus $1,600 a month on a three-year minimum ($29,200 in year one), and Software Finder estimates it starts at $1,500 a month before onboarding and integration. Worked out on the same footing, those put a small shop's first year at $28,000 to $30,000 before any ERP integration, and Software Finder's high-end estimate with ERP integration reaches $74,000. For comparison, QuotedPart's published price is $399 a month per shop ($4,788 a year), and the first 20 shops pay $199 a month.

What Paperless Parts says about its price
Its facts page answers "How much does Paperless Parts cost?" without a number. It says Paperless Parts "does not have a blanket price range", that it isn't priced by seats or users, and that the price depends on shop size and complexity (people quoting, locations, RFQ volume), the modules you need, integrations and onboarding, and contract length. Shops that sign multi-year agreements "typically receive more favorable pricing", and pricing "always reflects a belief that we will deliver at least a 3x return on investment".
The pricing page is a form. It says the tiers fit "a 5-person shop or a 500-person enterprise" and promises ROI in five months or less. Its machine-readable LLM data feed names three tiers, Growth, Professional and Enterprise, without prices, and Vendr's marketplace lists four platform editions (Basic, Standard, Pro and Enterprise), also without prices. Paperless Parts also says pricing information listed by third-party websites "is not accurate", so treat every figure below as a data point, not a price list, and get your own scoped quote.
- Not per seat: estimators, sales and the shop floor can all log in.
- Priced by: shop size and complexity, modules, integrations and onboarding, and contract length.
- Implementation: about 10 to 12 weeks by Paperless Parts' own account; G2 reviewers average 3 months to implement and 10 months to return on investment.
- No self-serve trial: the site offers a demo, and Capterra lists "Free trial not available".
Every dated Paperless Parts price on record
These are the figures we could tie to a source and a date. The North Carolina number came to us directly from the shop in 2026, and the shop agreed to our publishing it without its name; it now uses QuotedPart. The Reddit figure is one owner's report of the quote his shop got. Software Finder's numbers are its own estimates, not prices from Paperless Parts.
| Source | Date | What it says | Per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| North Carolina machine shop (reported to us by the shop) | 2026 | Quoted exactly $30,000 a year | $30,000 |
| Reddit r/smallbusiness, 8-person waterjet and laser shop | April 2025 | $10,000 setup + $1,600/month, 3-year minimum | $19,200 + setup |
| Software Finder estimate | checked 2026-11-05 | "Estimated to start at $1,500/month"; onboarding $5,000–$15,000, ERP integration $5,000–$15,000 one-time | from $18,000 |
| Paperless Parts /facts/ and /pricing/ | checked 2026-11-05 | No blanket price or range; tiers by shop; at least 3x ROI | not published |
| Capterra and G2 listings | checked 2026-11-05 | "Get Price" on Capterra; G2 pricing behind a login | not published |
First-year and three-year cost, worked out
Annual figures hide the setup fee and the term, so the table puts each data point on the same footing: what you'd pay in year one and over three years. A three-year view matters because the Reddit quote came with a three-year minimum and Paperless Parts says multi-year terms get better pricing. The Software Finder rows add its own one-time ranges for onboarding, configuration and training; the high-end row also adds ERP integration and yearly integration upkeep. None of the rows includes tax, price increases at renewal, or the estimators' time in a 10- to 12-week implementation.
The North Carolina quote sits close to Software Finder's low end: $18,000 of subscription plus $10,000 of one-time work is $28,000, against $30,000. That's the useful takeaway for a small shop: expect a five-figure first year before any ERP work, and ask for the three-year total in writing.
What you get for the money, and where Paperless Parts is stronger
Paperless Parts is a mature product from a company founded in 2017, and part of what a shop pays for is that maturity. It names live ERP integrations with Epicor (10/11/Kinetic), ECI (E2 Shop, JobBOSS, JobBOSS², M1), Fulcrum, Global Shop Solutions, Infor VISUAL/SyteLine, ProShop, Made2Manage, MIE Trak Pro. It says it is ITAR registered and hosted on AWS GovCloud, with US-person staff and a program built for shops pursuing CMMC Level 2. It nests sheet metal parts, recognizes 62+ geometric attributes for pricing formulas, and runs a structured implementation project. It also has 112 G2 reviews averaging 4.6. If you need a native Epicor, E2 or ProShop integration, a defense security posture with US-person staff, or a vendor with years of references, those are real reasons to pay more.
QuotedPart is the self-serve option built for autonomous AI quoting. It reads the RFQ email, STEP file and PDF drawing and prices every quantity at your rates in under 20 seconds, sends JobBOSS² estimates and exports for everything else, and includes an ITAR vault that encrypts drawings in your browser. It's newer and smaller: no native Epicor, E2 or ProShop integration, no nesting, not FedRAMP or CMMC assessed, and its maker is a Finnish company whose staff are not US persons. It costs $399 a month per shop (the first 20 shops pay $199), with a 14-day trial and no card, so you can test it on a part you've already quoted before you sign anything.
How to get a real number from Paperless Parts
Book the demo with your numbers ready, so the scope reflects your shop rather than a guess. Then ask for one written figure that covers the whole term, because the parts that move the price are listed separately.
- How many people quote, how many locations, and roughly how many RFQs a month you get.
- Which modules are in the quote: quoting only, or analytics, compliance audit trails and integrations too.
- The ERP integration and its one-time and yearly cost, and who maintains it.
- Onboarding fees, the implementation plan, and the hours a week your estimators will spend in it.
- Term length, the price cap at renewal, and what exporting your data costs if you leave.
