A DigiFabster alternative for shops that want control of the quote

DigiFabster is built around instant CAD quotes, a customer storefront and order management. QuotedPart is a smaller shop-side workflow: $199 a month per shop, PDF and STEP reading, and a quote page where the buyer accepts with a PO.

About DigiFabster

DigiFabster combines CAD feature recognition and DFM with an online storefront, order management, CRM, invoices and payments. Its pages describe both a customer-facing widget and internal quick quoting, plus a manual-review path for non-CAD files12.

Pick DigiFabster if

  • You want buyers to upload CAD, see instant pricing and place orders on a branded storefront.
  • You need feature recognition, DFM feedback, online payments or broader order management.
  • You need DigiFabster's stated ITAR workflow and local installation for an ITAR-licensed provider.

Pick QuotedPart if

  • You want a clearly published shop price and a no-card trial with no quote-count meter.
  • Many RFQs arrive as PDF prints, or you need the shop's own public RFQ page before quoting.
  • Your buyer should accept a reviewed quote with a PO and the won quote should become an order.

What QuotedPart does

  • RFQs by email forwarding, your own RFQ page, or drag and drop
  • PDF drawings read for part number, revision, material, finish, tolerances, threads and notes
  • STEP and IGES models measured in your browser: stock, holes, pockets, setups, turned features, sheet thickness and bends
  • A routing on your own work centers and rates, with setup and run minutes for every operation, all editable
  • Every quantity break priced, with cost, margin and lead time
  • A quote page with your logo where the buyer picks a quantity and accepts with a PO, or a PDF
  • Won quotes become orders; actual hours show where each work center runs over or under; similar parts you quoted before show up next to the new one

About the team and the company

Quoting software for bigger shops is sold through demos, setup fees and multi-year contracts. We think a small shop should be able to see the price, run a part it has already quoted, and decide in an afternoon.

If a quote comes out wrong, email me the part. We'll look at it with you and fix the estimate.
